Bat Nebula (IC 2948)
Steve Mandel captured this flase color image with an AP 5" f/6,
CFW8, H-a filter, and an ST8E camera.  The image was taken on
a recent trip to Australia and shot from Coonabarabran, home of
Siding Spring Observatory.  It is a sum of 6, 5-minute exposures.
Processed with MIRA, CCDSharp, MaxIm DL and Photoshop.
Ray Gralak helped with the processing.
