Adam Block captured this LRGB color image of M51 with an
ST-8E camera and CFW8 filter wheel through a 16" SCT at f/6.3.
The LRGB ratios were:  L=10 x 300 seconds, R and G = 2 x 420
seconds and B = 4 x 420 seconds.  Adam is the Lead Observer at
the Kitt Peak Visitor Center,  a public education organization that
provides amateur astronomers access to the resources of the Kitt
Peak Visitor Center Observatory.  For more information about the
