John Gleason took this deep color image of M42, the Great Orion Nebula,
with an SBIG ST-10XE camera and 4nm H-alpha filter through a Nilon 300mm
f/2.8 lens.  The H-alpha luminance frame is a 7x30 minute exposure. The color
data was scanned from a prior 70 minute color film exposure.
