NGC1977
Chris Anderson took this LRGB image of NGC1977
using a PixCel 237 (SBIG ST-237) camera and internal CFW5C
filter wheel through a Celestron Fastar 8 at f/1.95.  This 25 minute
exposure consists of a 600 second (five by 120 seconds Track and
Accumulate) luminance file, and three 300 second 2x2 binned RGB
files. Unguided at -19.78 degrees Celsius. Sub pixel registration and
post processing was done with CCDOPS v4.10, and combined in
Adobe Photoshop v5.5.  The luminance and RGB set files were log
scaled and sharpened in CCDOPS before being combined in
Photoshop.  A slight gaussian was blur added to the RGB layer.
