Imaging Category

Ed Grafton consistently takes some of the best planetary images we have ever seen produced by an amateur astronomer.  He has had won the SBIG Image of the Month honor more than once but what makes these results all the more remarkable is that Ed uses relatively modest equipment.  The image of Jupiter below   was taken in November, 2001, through a C14 telescope using eyepiece projection and an SBIG ST-6 camera.  To see more of Ed's work please check out his web site at http://www.ghgcorp.com/egrafton
