4.5 nm H-alpha Filter

Uses:
Imaging emission nebula - The narrow 4.5 nm passband isolates the strong Hydrogen-alpha
emission line while suppressing other wavelengths, including most light pollution from city lights.
The 4.5 nm passband of this filter was specifically designed to be as narrow as possible
while still allowing use of F/2.8 optical systems.

Features:
4.5 nm passband centered on 656.3 nm.
Transmission nearly 90% at center wavelength.
Blanked to 1.2 microns (Infrared blocked).
Anti-reflection coatings
Mounted in 1.25" metal cell designed to fit CFW8 carousel or
50mm unmounted round filter for the Research Series cameras.
Filter may be removed from cell for easy cleaning.

10 nm H-alpha Filter

Uses:
Imaging emission nebula - The relatively wide 10 nm passband of this filter captures the strong
Hydrogen-alpha emission line, some weak nearby emission lines, and slightly more continuum light while still suppressing other wavelengths, including most light pollution from city lights. More stars will be seen in an image with a wider passband and exposure times may be shorter due to the increase of total energy passing through the filter. The suppression of sky glow
and streetlights will still be very good although not quite as good as the 4.5 nm filter.

10 nm passband centered on 656.3 nm.
Transmission nearly 90% at center wavelength.
Blanked to 1.2 microns (Infrared blocked).
