New Products In Development

This announcement is to provide advance information about new products that we expect to release over the next few months. These are products under development and as such we do not have any further technical information, prices or specific release dates to give out other than what is posted in this announcement. When a product matures to the point that we can post more technical data, etc., we will update our web site. As always we appreciate your comments and suggestions for improving our product line.

1. All Sky Cam accessory for the ST-237/A and STV cameras

This accessory is available as a kit or a whole new head for ST-237A and STV cameras. The kit will retro-fit existing heads. The All Sky Cam configuration will produce an image with a true 180 degree field of view. The custom F/2.8 fish eye lens has a focal length of 1.24 mm and uses coated glass elements for high quality images. Click here for more information.

2. Internal Color Filter Wheel for the STV

We have received many requests to upgrage the STV design to accommodate an internal color filter wheel to make RGB and LRGB imaging easier with the STV. This upgrade option will soon be available in new STV cameras. The upgrade is also available to existing STV owners. It will require downloading a new version of the STV firmware from our web site (this download will be free) and replacing the existing shutter/filter wheel with a CFW5C filter wheel. 3. Improved Tracking Firmware for the STV

Based on user's input, we are adding a number of new features (such as averaging moves) to the STV firmware to improve its calibration and tracking performance. When released the firmware will be available for free download from our web site. Click here to see the latest firmware available for the STV.

4. On-axis accessory for the AO-7

This product is still undergoing evaluation. It is an accessory that allows the user to select a guide star for the AO within the same field of view as the object being imaged. We will post an update to this announcement when our field tests are completed. Click here to see a close up with the cover removed.

Please keep in mind that this is an advance notice and the information can and probably will change as we work on these projects. As soon as we have firm release dates, technical specs and firm prices we will post the information on our web site.
