Limited Quantity Available
Offer Good Only While Supplies Last

These ST-7Ei industrial cameras are available in limited quantity due to a switch by one of our OEMs to the USB version.  The ST-7Ei camera uses the same high QE, blue enhanced KAF-0401E NABG CCD that is found in the standard ST-7E and ST-7XE cameras.  The only difference in imaging perfromance between this industrial version and the ST-7E or ST-7XE is the absence of the internal guiding CCD.   Otherwise this camera performs exactly the same as its self-guiding counterpart with parallel interface.

The KAF-0401E blue enhanced CCD is very sensitive with a peak QE of nearly 70%.  At H-alpha it is still approximately 65% and the sensitivity extends well beyone the visible into the near IR.

The camera will work with all of our software as well as third party software.  It carries our full one year warranty, including the CCD.   Rather than convert these cameras to USB for sale at a higher price we decided to offer them to our dealers as a low cost alternative for those who want to get into CCD imaging with an SBIG camera but cannot afford the cost of a new USB camera in one go.  The cameras may be used as they are for now and upgraded to USB at a later time.  At $1295 there is no better bargain available anywhere.

Each ST-7Ei camera system includes:

The followng items are available as options for the ST-7Ei:

USB and tracking CCDs may be added by sending the cameras to SBIG for upgrade.  The cost for upgrading to USB is $995 and the cost to add the TC-211 tracking CCD is $395.
