New Product Release
CCDOPS for Windows 95 List Price $99
May 13, 1998

SBIG is completing the testing phase of the development of the new CCDOPS for Windows 95 and will release the software in June, 1998.

CCDOPS for Windows 95 is an entirely new Windows 95 package and should not be confused with CCDOPS for Windows 3.1 which has been available for some time.  The new Windows 95 version has all of the functions of CCDOPS for DOS including Auto Grab, Color Grab and Support for the AO-7 Adaptive Optics unit.  In addition, this new software includes the ability to combine RGB color images and essentially replaces CCDCOLOR.  CCDOPS for Windows 95 will control all SBIG cameras except the ST-4 and it will also control the Celestron PixCel 255 and new PixCel 237 cameras.

The menus of the new software keep the look and feel of CCDOPS for DOS so users will immediately feel comfortable with this new interface.  All of the menu commands are right where they have been in earlier versions of CCDOPS.  In addition, a special icon bar may be called up to quickly take the user directly to any of the seven most used functions: Open, Save, Grab, Focus, Auto Grab, Track and Accumulate, and Self Guide.

CCDOPS for Windows 95 will be included with new cameras sold after its release, and will be an optional upgrade for all other users.  The list price of the package sold separately will be $99.00.  CCDOPS for Windows 95 can be purchased directly from SBIG or through any of our stocking dealers worldwide.
